Poul Henningsen would have turned 120 years this year, and in that occasion Louis Poulsen have re-launched a limited edition of PH 3 ½ -3 pendant in copper and hand-blown opal glass. A beautiful lamp I wouldn´t mind having at all  – WOW!

The lamp can only be purchased during the period 1 February – 31 May 2014.

Cottage life

We are spending a few days at my fiancé´s family cabin since it is winter holiday here in Norway. Although we are working from the cabin, life is much more relaxing up here in the mountains. I´m not only sleeping like a baby, but the air and the surroundings is like meditation and I´m totally enjoying it. As you can see I have brought the biography of Steve Jobs with me, which has been on my reading list for such a long time. I am a huge admirer of his work, and I am really looking forward to learn more about this fascinating man.

Beautiful shelving unit – DO

The brand new shelving unit “Do” from Skagerak is simply beautiful, don´t you agree? I really like its simple design in oak and melamine. In fact I love everything in this picture, so I´ll take it all please! *smile*.

While looking at the bedroom category on Stylizimo.com, I see that grey is a very popular color to use in the bedroom. No wonder as grey is a very calm and soothing color. It´s also extremely versatile and can be combined with almost every color imaginable,  so if you get tired of the grey just add some colors. As one example, I really like the soft pink that Karina has used in the last photo as showed above.
