Fargerike are known for supporting Norwegian design, and once again they show it by launching the wallpaper collection “byFryd for Fargerike”, designed by talented Jeanette Lunde!

I had the pleasure seeing the wallpaper collection in person at their launch yesterday, and I can´t say other than; “WOW! You have done it again Jeanette – it´s magical as always”.

In the first photo you see Jeanette and the photo wallpaper called “KORALL” which is inspired by happiness, summer and the simple life. Very beautiful and will certainly bring joy into every room!

The wallpaper in the second photo is called MAGI and is my personal favorite. This is a photo wallpaper inspired by fairy tales, nature and mystery. I love the watercolor effect and the soft colors it has.

The most impressive one though is the “byFryd for Fargerike” which is a pattern she has designed inspired by Norwegian traditional floral paintings (Rosemaling) with a sprinkling of stardust. Beautiful right?
This wallpaper is a limited edition of 1,500 rolls.

For us who know Jeanette, it´s easy to see her signature in the wallpapers: feminine, dreamy and magical. She always works from her heart and she touches me every time… Well done, my friend!

Finally we have our very own HAY HOUSE here in Norway! I was at their official opening Thursday last week and their shop + showroom looks stunning and are absolutely worth a visit if your in town. The store is located in the intersection of Josefinesgate and Hegdehaugsveien in Oslo.

Glass scull

I haven´t bought much for our home lately, but this cool little glass skull moved in last week. Many of you might think of death when you see a skull, but a skull also symbolises protection, strength, power, fearlessness, wisdom and guidance, rebirth or even immortality. I like to think it has a positive meaning… anyway, the best part of this glass skull is the wonderful light it gives in the evening and that you´ll find it in Stylizimo Shop.
