Teal in the bedroom

Bedroom_Prekestolen

Since I loved the color ( Prekestolen ) so much in the living room, I thought it might be a perfect color for the bedroom as well. Going from black to teal made a huge difference and the room suddenly felt much bigger than before, and as this color also contains a bit of black it feels very calm to sleep in. I´m super happy with this quick makeover!

With the “new” bedroom and all, I had to have some new bedding as well and since I´ve heard so many saying that linen bedding is very comfortable, I had to check it out. And what a successful choice it was! The linen Lea from Høie of Scandinavia ( which is a well known quality brand here in Norway ) made me sleep like a baby with its super softness.

Comparing this new look with my old one, I feel the room now has a more calmness to it and invites you to relax and sleep well. It´s funny how we are satisfied with one look until we have tried something new *smile*. Something you can relate to as well?

Grand Central Hotel in Oslo

Comfort Grand Central Hotel

Comfort Grand Central Hotel offers some really fun and creative rooms to right in the city center of Oslo, which makes it a preferable place to stay when I need to spend the night in the city. It doesn’t hurt that it is one the most centrally located hotels as well, in the same building as the train station.

This weekend my fiancé and I stayed in one of the suites that has an industrial look, and some of the details were chipboard, gold glittery epoxy and extra sinks outside the bathroom – very cool!

Office supplies

I can never get enough notebooks, and I get overexcited whenever I find new ones that I like. Yesterday, I found some really nice ones with lovely patterns + one in copper at Søstrene Grene ( love affordable stores like this! ). I even found matching pencils in copper – oh, joy!
