I woke up long before the birds today, and are now on my way to the airport and Morocco. It´s time for a vacation, and I´m really looking forward to some relaxing days in the sun…

Recently I´ve started to light a scented candle every morning before I get in the shower to make sure I have an extra good start of the day. It´s funny how much simple things like this can enrich a day, don´t you agree? Fresh flowers are also a must in the bathroom, and nowadays I have cherry blossom from the garden, which are absolutely beautiful.

Designforevig har en konkurranse på Instagram hvor de ønsker at du deler ditt festbord hvor du har dekket på med dine favoritter. Tagg festbordet med @designforevig samt #mittfestbord og du kan ble én av tre heldige som vinner et gavekort på hele 1000 kr!
Siden 17. mai er rett rundt hjørnet har jeg fått låne noen favoritter ( som jeg gjerne skulle hatt i skapet selv! ) av Designforevig og dekket opp til den store festdagen. I stedet for å gjøre det helt tradisjonelt med rødt, hvitt og blått har jeg holdt meg til kun hvitt og blått. Her er serviset så vakkert i seg selv, så jeg synes ikke det er nødvending med så mye ekstra for å gjøre det pent på bordet. I tillegg har jeg kun klipt av noen små grener fra kirsebærtreet og satt i små vaser, samt laget noen matchende bordkort i Photoshop som jeg festet på gaffelen – velkommen til bords!

I took these photos last summer, so as you might notice there have been a few changes over the year when it comes to the color on my walls and the chairs in the dining area. Although, I´m very happy with the new color in our living room, office and bedroom, I have to say that I miss the black & white look that I had last year. Oh well, what is life without some changes, right? I wonder how it will look in a year from now *smile*!
