Skull art piece

To celebrate the release of the new Stylizimo.com, I´m giving away this one of a kind skull art piece ( value 2800 NOK! ) to one of the Stylizimo.com members!

The art is made by the talented John Andrè Hanøy who with his special technique, which combines spray painting, painting and drawing, procudes a skull on 70-150 years old paper. These are paper sheets from old books he finds on his travels abroad, and it makes each piece truly unique. I love it!

So do you want this cool art piece? All you have to do is sign up as a member on Stylizimo.com, and let me know here in the comment section that you want to win. Also, make sure to tell me your profile name. ( PS! You have to write a comment here, even if you already are a member )

The winner will be drawn in 1 week. Good luck!

If you are interested in buying one of his pieces, you can contact John Andrè Hanøy here.

Christmas deer

Little by little it´s beginning to look like Christmas in our living room. I usually don´t have a lot of decorations, as I prefer to put more into the details like I´ve done here… Simple, but yet very decorative I think…

I´m actually in Copenhagen once again this year, and this time I´m invited to VIPP´s Christmas event for European bloggers. I´m a big fan of VIPP so I´m excited about being here and I´m looking forward to a great day together with their staff and the other bloggers.

VIPP usually has very tasteful images of their products, and last Friday they released these table setting photos that really live up to their standard of quality. What can I say other than I can’t wait to see these products in real life! I will take some photos to share with you, so you also can see these products not only from the top down angle *smile*. Oh, and for those who want some more VIPP action right away I can recommend you check out VIPP’s profile on Stylizimo.com. Here you will find inspiring photos of VIPP products uploaded by our members and all the blog posts that have been written about VIPP from the world’s top interior bloggers. Enjoy!

What do you think of VIPP? Do you have any of their products in your home?

Edda Interior launched a pillow collection today in collaboration with the “The Stupid Mammals” and I have to share it with you right away, because this is how it looks when Norwegian fauna meets urban street art – very cool and definitely something new!

Stol_sau

The Stupid Mammals” is an artist collective consisting of Oslo-based artists with diverse backgrounds in photography, illustration, design, graffiti and street art. In common, they all have a curiosity for urbanity and a desire to translate this visually, and describe their own niche as “when street art meets design”.

The Stupid Mammals also paint some really impressive wall paintings for shops/hotels etc. so watch out for some cool walls when you are wandering around in Oslo!

1st day of Advent First day of Advent

I hope you all are enjoying the first day of Advent! We actually kick-started Christmas yesterday with a traditional Christmas dinner and a Christmas movie – oh joy!

Anyway, I´m feeling a little bit stressed seeing so many of you finished your Christmas shopping already, so my plan is to start buying some presents online today… Maybe I´ll even make some Christmas candy ( so much better that Christmas cakes *smile*! )

What are your plans for today? Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Maybe you´ll find some presents on Stylizimo Shop ( Many interior shops at ONE place )?
