Today I finally have some Christmas photos to show you after decorating our home this weekend. We don´t have lots of decorations, but with a Christmas tree and flowers that smell heavenly together with lots of candles, the Christmas spirit fills the room right away.

Our tree is decorated with the same colors as last year; black, copper, gold and white. Even some of the presents are wrapped in the same colors, but I´ll tell you more about that later.

I love the wonderful atmosphere in the evening with all the candles…

This weekend I finally got the chance to do some Christmas preparations in the house. The Christmas tree is up, and we have started wrapping some of the presents. Hopefully I will have more time to take some pictures before it gets dark today, so I can share some photos of it with you…

I promised to show you more photos from the styling & culinary workshop we had at Vipp´s Flagship Store in Copenhagen, and today I received some “behind the scene” photos I would like to share with you.

We were 13 European bloggers divided in 3 groups, and I was teamed up with 101Woonideeën, thesweetspot, MiMA and Bodieandfou. Each group had to style 5 Christmas dishes and 1 table setting, having 15 minutes on each styling. It was quite challenging working in a team where we had very different taste in what we like, but still very fun! You can see all the results here.

After the styling we all sat down and enjoyed the 5 delightful X-mas dishes that chef Mikkel Karstad had prepared for us – it was sooo good! Thank you all for a wonderful day!

The Square_hotel

While in Copenhagen I had the pleasure to stay at the Square Hotel which is located right by the city hall, which means that it´s very close by to shopping and the Tivoli. That way I had the time to enjoy some of the city´s adventures as well.

And boy was I happy (!) when I saw they had  lots of my favorite lounge chair, the “Egg” by Arne Jacobsen in their lobby. It´s always a pleasure sitting in one…. *dreaming*

Design Nation

When nine European bloggers where at the Design Trade in Copenhagen this summer we all fell in love with the Danish brand “DESIGN NATION“, founded by Christian and Jens Brorsen in 2012.  They work closely with carefully selected designers who are masters of their trade and craft, and their goal is to create products that enhance the pleasure of everyday living!

I really like their products and hope that I will see them in the near future here in Norway too. I´m sure I´m not the only Norwegian who likes this, right?

Stylizimo_OBOS_jul

In the latest Issue of OBOS magazine you can read about how I and two other Norwegian bloggers are decorating for Christmas. The photos are from last years Christmas, but I guess it will look pretty much the same this year as I still love this color scheme. I might add a few more ornaments on the Christmas tree though….it looks a bit “naked” *smile*. Anyway, I hope the article gives you a few ideas, if you´re in need for some inspiration. See all three Christmas homes in OBOS´s magazine here ( from page 54 ).
