Office in bedroom_grey

I´m moving my working space from one room to another these days, and last night I moved my office into the bedroom. The reason is that we have now begun renovating some of the extra bedrooms + the hallway downstairs, and I therefore had to empty the rooms, including my temporary office ( as the loft isn´t ready yet either )

It´s good that it´s one month to Christmas, because we have a lot of projects to finish before then.

When it comes to finding beautiful things to decorate my walls, prints are a big favorite of mine and especially the minimalistic ones. So when I got introduced to Mapiful I was very excited as their prints are not only beautiful and minimalistic, but you can also make them just the way you want based on any location in the world. This allows you to get a personal touch to the prints, and it was a fun experience to look around on the map on their website to find locations or cities that would look great on the wall.

But since I also wanted the prints to be unique for me, I wanted the locations to have a special meaning. Therefore after a bit of thinking and a trip down memory lane I ended up with Copenhagen and Malibu in California.

I chose Copenhagen firstly because I just love the city and the vibe it has, but also because of the city´s deep design roots. Looking around in my house I have to admit that there is a fair bit of Danish design here *smile*. Malibu has however a more personal meaning to me as this is the place where my fiancé proposed to me. It is also just a wonderful little city in California where you can enjoy the beach, good food and beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine. That is why this print got the fitting title “Good Memories”.

I´m back home after attending the official opening of Royal Copenhagen´s Christmas Tables 2015, and I´m now full of Christmas spirit after the Christmassy surroundings in Copenhagen.

It is now the 52nd time(!) that Royal Copenhagen has invited celebrities to set the Christmas tables in their shop on Amagertorv, and is one of Copenhagen’s most important Christmas events, as hundreds of thousands visit it each year.

This year´s tables are set by some of the funniest Danish comedians and entertainers, so you probably have to be Danish to really understand the humour behind them. Each table setting has a story behind them, and when you have these stories in the back of your head and look at the tables you have to appreciate all the fun and small details that have been put into this, all with the help of some great stylists.

So if you are in Copenhagen before New Years I can surely recommend that you take the time to visit Royal Copenhagen´s Christmas Tables 2015. It was a great experience, and a wonderful kick-off to this year´s Christmas.

Royal Copenhagen

Today I´m invited to the unveiling of this year’s Christmas table setting at Royal Copenhagen´s store at Amagertorv in Copenhagen. I´m a such fan of RC, and I can´t wait to see how it´s decorated. I´m sure it will be very inspiring, and bring me right into Christmas mood  🙂

I promise to share some photos with you later, but in the meantime you can follow me on @stylizimoblog

Happy Friday!!

I´m currently having my office in one of the bedrooms that we haven´t renovated yet, as we are working on a little makeover up in the loft these days… The light is so nice down here ( the loft has only a roof window ), and the view is actually quite amazing from this room too. So now I´m wondering if I want to move back up or not.

Maybe I can use the loft to something else? Any ideas?
