Colorful welcome

Hallway

I can´t deny that we don´t have the most colorful home, but at least you get a colorful welcoming in our hallway. I´m still very happy with the Lady Pure Color Minty Breeze that we chose a year ago, and since it´s a very greyish green, it goes very well with the rest in the house.

The children cabinet and drawers from Ikea do also still work very well. It´s nice to have big drawers to basically throw your shoes in to make the mess out of sight 🙂 A budget tips from me, if you haven´t seen it already.

New in – Norwegian Design

Ildhane

I ´ve had the Ildhane candle holder by Anderssen & Voll on my wishlist since I wrote about its launch in November. I was hoping to find it under my Christmas tree, but since I didn´t, I have now bought it myself. On Friday I picked it up at the post office and it´s finally in place in our living room – a new Norwegian icon I will enjoy for a very long time…

My “Stylizimo by Emmeselle” silkscreen´s are finding their way up on our walls these days, and I really like how good some of them look together as well. Here you see Memory Lane and A part of me hanging in our living room. Nice, huh?

The series is about those we have lost, but who forever will live in our heart. About the gratitude we have for the time we had together – and for all the good memories. We have made 8 butterfly illustrations in limited edition of only 100 pieces. All signed and numbered silk screens, lovingly made by hand.
