I found some really nice new things at the Design Trade Fair last week, and we have a lot to look forward to this season. My absolute favorite that caught my eyes is the new collection by designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm for Trip Trap Skagerak. I used the mirror designed by her in the styling I did at the Blogger Zone at the fair, but her whole line Georg is absolutely fabulous, and I really love everything about it. Maybe you can see why?

I find her designs very innovative but still timeless, as I can see myself having these furniture in my home for a long time when I first have bought them…

I´m back after some wonderful days in Copenhagen at the Design Trade (the new design fair in Copenhagen), and I have a lot of things that I want to share with you from the fair. First I want to start with the trend exhibit that I made in the Blogger´s Zone. We were 9 bloggers from different countries from Europe that styled our own little booth using products some exhibitors at the fair. We could styled it however we wanted, but I chose to focus on the trends that I think we will see this fall/winter as well as new products from some of the exhibitors collections that I like.
The lounge chair is by HAY, the mirror is by Trip Trap and the little coffee table is by Foxy Potato. The marble wallpaper is by Ferm Living and the cushion and the throw in the chair is by Broste. Notice the cool “zig zag” throw from Elvang as well as the Bellino jars from Kähler – I love them!

Magazinerack-1

One of many favorites from the fair is this VEGA magazine rack in solid untreated oak from Foxy Potato. They are very pretty to have on the wall as well as I like the idea of featuring beautiful magazines on the wall like this. Designed by Anders Folke Andersen.

I´ve used the black Unit table from Kähler, and decorated it with glass vases from Broste, figs and some lovely straws that I found outside the Bella Center.

The hexagon pots and stand in brass is by Ferm Living as well as the marble cushion, the box is from Nomess, and the paper clips are from HAY. All are items that I would love to have in my home!

I really like these knitted blankets by Broste – perfect to cuddle up in now that it´s getting colder.

I got up waaay(!) to early today to catch a plane to Copenhagen as I have been invited to the new trade fair Design Trade together with eight other bloggers. The trade fair is from 28-30.08 at the Bella Center and we are going to be there every day as well as we are going to style each our trend zone at the “Bloggers Zone”, using products from the exhibitors. I´ll show you pictures on how they all turn out of course!

Two new beauties have moved into our home right before the weekend, so guess where I have been spending my time lately *smile*? I have been saving for the “Wishbone Chair” for a looong time, and now I´m finally the lucky owner of two chairs! Now I have to keep on saving, so I can buy two more… Oh, joy!

Between working (..from my new chair) I also spent some time enjoying the great weather we still have here in Norway. Let´s hope it´s going to be a long summer…

Fritz Hansen launched Ro in Milan this spring, and according to them it has been one of the most successful introductions of an easy chair that Fritz Hansen has ever experienced. Now Ro is finally available in stores, and for those who are wondering; there will also be a leather version and a new foot stool around the corners as well, so you can relax completely!

I have a few other favorites from Fritz Hansen that are on my wishlist before this, but it´s really good-looking chair, isn´t it?
