DECORATE WITH FLOATING FLOWERS

It´s nice to add some colors on a summery table setting, and that is easily done by having a bowl of floating flowers on each plate like I´ve done here. You can use whatever flowers and leaves you like, and make a creative and lovely decoration for each of your guest. When it´s time to have food on the plate, you can just move them to the table and you still have the flowers to make the table beautiful…

DECORATING TIP – PICTURES ON THE FLOOR

If you are afraid of making holes in your wall, it can be nice to put some pictures on the floor instead. It´s actually a great idea if you are renting and aren´t allowed to make any holes. In this case I´ve put some pictures on the floor because I wanted to hide some wires and a couple of sockets that I didn´t find very pretty to look at. Now our guests can look at these nice pictures instead…Decorating tip of the day.

SUNNY MORNINGS OUT ON OUR KITCHEN BALCONY

Although we have sunshine the whole day on our terrace in the back of the house, I love starting my mornings out here on our kitchen balcony when it´s sunny. Today I´ve been looking trough my new Cereal Copenhagen City Guide in the sun, and I´m looking forward to visit my favorite city again, so I can explore some of the places they recommend in the guide that I haven´t been to yet… There are so many nice places in this city!

A new look in the offce

A NEW LOOK IN THE OFFICE

A long and relaxing vacation is now over and it´s time to get back to work. With a new start, I also have a new look in the office. I don´t know if you remember the beautiful second-hand desk I used to have in here. Well, I´m afraid it was to high for me and not good for my neck and shoulders, so I´m back to my white simple desk again. It´s probably a bit boring comparing the second-hand desk, but I actually like simplicity and how light it became in here with my white desk.

Hanging strawberry plant

One of my best investments this summer is this hanging strawberry plant. Every day I find new strawberries that are ready to be enjoyed, and they taste extra delicious when they come directly from the plant. Simple summer bliss!

I actually had a hanging strawberry plant last year as well, but this year my plant carries a lot more fruits and the berries are sweeter and taste much better – probably a result of more sunshine I guess..
