A week ago we moved into our new house, and I thought I could share some BEFORE photos of it while we are renovating.
The house is an architect designed house (built in 1986) that is shaped as a pyramid. It has a huge living room with a big loft in the middle where my new office will be.
What I love about the house is the 4 meter height under the ceiling in the living room, and the spectacular view over Drammen city and the fjord. The wooden floor in the living room is also very nice.
The walls looks nice in the photos, but they are really not. They are very discolored and has a textile wallpaper which is very outdated. So the plan is to renovate all the walls, as well as putting drywall+paint on some of the wooden panelling on the loft area to brighten it up a bit. We are thinking about keeping the wooden roof though, but it needs to be treated in some way to get it lighter – any suggestions?
That was the BEFORE photos of the living room and loft. I´m looking forward sharing AFTER photos with you in the time to come…
I´ll show you more BEFORE photos of rooms in the house later
