In the latest issue of the interior magazine BoligPluss (available in stores from today), you will find Madeleine and Ole´s beautiful home that I took photos of a while back.

Maybe you already follow Madeleine on Instagram or her blog, and recognize her home? It´s really stunning and has a lot of personality I think. Their kitchen is just amazing…, magine having your very own pizza own in the kitchen – so cool!

Madeleine is a very talented singer and she happens to have one of my favorite voices. I really hope that she will make an album one day. You´ll find her on Soundcloud here. My favorites are her version of Ambitions and Diamonds and Masken.

New living room

The living room in our new house has been renovated the last few weeks, and this Friday we could finally move back in again – a day I have been waiting for with a lot of joy!

I´m very happy with how it all turned out, and I look forward showing you more photos of it in the time to come. One of the things I love the most is the “new” floor that now has been sanded and treated with lye, white oil and matt lacquer – it´s SO beautiful and much lighter than it used to be. Before we started I was not aware that the process to renovate a wooden floor was so technical, and the number of choices you have. Luckily, we found people with the right competence and I am happy to come with recommendations if you are planning to do something with your own wooden floors.

As you can see in the above picture we have also removed all the window mouldings to make a cleaner and firmer look, and I am very happy with result.

Julekos med Magimix

Jeg har funnet meg en julefavoritt. En sunn og fantastisk god juice som passer utmerket som julekos – en “julejuice” rett og slett!

Som nevnt tidligere tester jeg Magimix le duo plus juiceren, og den blir hyppig brukt om dagen til akkurat denne juicen… Må si jeg gleder meg til å by gjestene mine på denne i år.

Til et stort glass med “Julejuice” trenger du:

– 2 epler
– 2 gulrøtter
– 1/2 appelsin
– ca. 3 cm tykk skive med rødbet
– 1 ts kanel
Pynt gjerne med et par anis stjerner og strø litt kanel på toppen for det lille ekstra.

I just realized that I´m a semifinalist at the Vixen Blog Awards in two categories: “Interiorblog of the Year” and Instagram of the Year! Holy mama – what an honour *smile*!
