I have for a long time wanted a calender wallsticker, but since it’s a little too expensive for my wallet right now, I got the idea of making one myself using chalk paint.

My new calendar

It might seem complicated, but it’s really not. I guess it took me about an hour to make this calendar. ( well, that’s only possible if you use a hair dryer to dry the paint. *smile* )
I hope you like my DIY!

You can see more photos of my new home office here if you like.
Have a great new week.

A new project has started… I’ll show you more later, but here you have a little sneak peek.
Back to work…

Do you have any projects this weekend?

Wish you a beautiful Saturday!

It’s unbelievable what some change of colors can do, and if you move some of the furniture as well, you have a completely new living room! I have now turned our couch around, and I have replaced all the grey with black.

It’s funny have just simple things like this can change a whole living room, don’t you agree?

See some before photos here if you like.
You can also find some more images of our “new” living room on Stylizimo.com.

 Almost weekend! Yay 🙂

As I told you a few days ago I needed a change in my home office, and this weekend I finally had the time to do the finishing touches of my new black and white home office. Here you have a little tour…

Read more about my DIY Antlers here.
I love inspiration boards, and this time I’ve made one in black and white with pictures from magazines that I attached to the wall with washi tape together with some prints.

See how I made the “Home sweet home” picture here. ( The black text and chandelier is made using stamps )

I wanted more space so I could have both my computer and my sewing machine on the same desk. If I don’t have my sewing machine readily available I never use it…

It’s nice to have a home office that is more organized and I’m very happy with the result, even though I really liked my previous office.

I hope you like my new home office, and that it gave you some inspiration.

Have a great new week everyone!

xo,
Nina

I asked you if my flea market lamp had any kind of value, but since nobody knew anything about it I took the liberty to paint it black. I know that a lot of you wanted me to keep it as is was, but gold isn’t a color that fits well into my home I’m afraid. I also needed a black lamp for my office, so here is the result:

I’m very happy with the result, even though I thought it looked good in the beginning. I needed a black lamp, and now I got one for $3! *smile*

Have you painted a lamp before?

Thank you all for your compliments on my purple “table setting” and the “DIY: Antlers“. Your feedback really warms my heart.

Enjoy your Sunday sweet, sweet readers!
