There is no doubt that the evenings are getting darker and that Autumn is sneaking up on us. To still be able to use out terrace in the evenings I have therefore hung a chain of light bulbs about the couch so we can have it cosy there in the dark as well.
I´ll try to take some photos in the dark one day, so you´ll get a better idea on how it looks “by night”.

A new painting ( by me ) is up on the wall, this time with cold blue tones and hints of bronze…
The painting is 900x1200mm, and is for sale for 7000 NOK. ( shipping in Norway 250,- )
If you are interested in the painting, please send me an email to nina(at)stylizimo(dot)com
I´m actually working on a new website where you can see all my paintings. My own little gallery *smile*. I´ll let you know when it´s up running.

While taking our Sunday walk in the woods this weekend, I discovered a couple of small oak trees that I brought home with me. There is something about their leaves that I like so much, and the roots are also very decorative when you put it in a glass vase like I have done here.
Leaves are as you can see very decorative and can easily be replaced by flowers, so why not bring a couple of branches home with you on your next walk. Tip of the day!

Since it suddenly feels like autumn in the air, I couldn´t wait buying a few autumn flowers for our terrace to reinforce the feeling. I hope we still will have a lot of warm days ahead of us, but I have to admit that I love that autumn is sneaking upon us as well – it´s just something about that fresh air and darker nights…
Some of my (dead) summer flowers have been replaced by white Erica and winter-green plants.
Love my little oasis out here on our patio. This is my view from our outdoor sofa that´s underneath a white sail.
You can see more photos from the terrace with summer flowers here and here.
