As some of you might have noticed, I have been sharing the latest updates from our house on Instagram Stories. Two rooms have received a well-deserved upgrade, and one of them is the washing room that has not been touched since the house was built in 1986. As you can imagine, it was about time.
As with any major renovation project that I do, I like to visual how I would like the room to be and a mood board is an excellent way to do this.
As you can see I am going for a clean look with a touch of nature with the oak door panels from IKEA. The black Tapwell faucet looks great and will create a nice contrast to the rest.
To complement the design, I have chosen ASKO for the washing machine and tumble dryer. Living up to its Scandinavian heritage the machines have a minimalistic and clean look that I like.
For the finishing touch, I am planning to have a Himla rug that will soften up the concrete floor. Lastly, as you can see in the mood board, I am also planning to have a Himla towel hanging on the wall as well as the Menu dustpan. The details are important, right?
So what do you think? Stay tuned for the big reveal next week.

Love your blog, Style is fantastic. I am trying to change my laundry now and saw your refurbishment that I like a lot. Can I ask you about ikea doors, what kind of hinges have you used? Are they opening from down/up or right/left? What about top it is also Ikea?
