I´ve spent a lot of time on our terrace lately and I realized that´s been a while since I´ve updated you with photos from our outdoor area ( I´ve posted a few photos on Instagram, but not here ).
As you can see, our custom planter boxes are now full of flowers and I love how they have turned out. I guess I have to move some of the flowers out later as they will get to big ( at least the hosta ).
Our DIY outdoor sofa is still working find and are very much in use.
Conrad, our dog, is enjoying our terrace as much as we do… : )
I have one planter box with white and “blue” plants and one with green, white and burgundy.

I love your deck (?Canadian term) and all your plants. I especially loved the wood of the deck. What wood is it? We have western red cedar here in BC but it usually grays in blotches – it doesn’t look as even as yours.
I have followed your blog for quite awhile – since before you moved to your new home and I love what you have done with it.
All the best!
Our deck is in treated pine.
I’m still super in love with your terrace!! Its a minimal paradise!! Amazing images and thanks for sharing x

I love this terrace, the black wood of the sofa and the framing in the back is a great combination with the natural wood on the ground and the stairs. What type of wood did you take for the ground I love that it had no rills like ours and I am searching for something plane like yours. I like the colour it´s more grey than brown. The plants are wonderful.
Many greetings Kathrin
I Love the lounge chairs on your terrace. Which brand is it, and where have
you bought them?
Thanks!
Marina

Thank you so much, Laura! <3
Can you please tell me where you got the chairs from or ehat brand they are. They look fantastic!
The chairs are from Oasiq.com 🙂
Hi Nina,
Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pics of your fabulous terrace. They are sooooo inspiring!
Quick question, what product have you used to treat the deck wood? We’re about to lay our new deck and I’m considering using some “terrassebeis”. Is this something you have used in yours?
Thanks
Belen 🙂
We are building a house, and this is so inspiring, thank’s! I love the grey together with the green <3

Nydelig! Har dere laget egen putekasse?
Takk! Nei, det har vi ikke. Putene ligger løst i stua når de ikke brukes. Ikke optimalt, men sånn er det nå enn å så lenge 😉
I have followed your blog for quite awhile – since before you moved to your new home and I love what you have done with it.
Really great work done on designing and arranging so many things on the terrace, it might be a good experience spending time at such amazing environment. Thanks for sharing such great idea.
Hi Nina! I just love your style. Thanks for sharing all that you do. Your vision is incredible. Your color choices on your deck are so warm and soothing. The grey floor, the black, the white pots and flowers, the greens. So jelly. 🙂 I wish i knew what you did to your pine deck to get that grey color. I, too, have a pine deck that needs treatment. Having such a hard time making stain choices until i came across your deck. So so inspiring!!
