It´s not often I find inspiring homes for sale here in Norway, as they are usually too stripped and made impersonal before the property is put up for sale. But this apartment at Rodeløkka in Oslo is really standing out with its personal style and clever ideas. Absolutely inspiring and ideas worth to steal.
Let´s start with the kitchen; The black kitchen with the marble counter top looks amazing, but it´s the green Jielde wall lamps that are creating a fun twist and making the kitchen look more unique.
Notice how the colorful rug beautifully bring colors to the room and gathers the furniture and art. The warm wood also make a nice contrast towards the grey walls.
I´m also inspired by little lounge area they have made behind the kitchen island. I can easily see myself lying in that daybed, looking out the window or reading a book while someone else is making dinner : )
I think I would prefer some curtains in front of the wardrobe and windows, to make a calmer and cosier look. But I love the idea of having the bed in the middle of the room like they have done here. It shouldn´t be too difficult to make a bed like that, if you are a bit handy.
The bathroom is absolutely worth a look as well, so make sure you see the whole apartment here.
