Yesterday Fargerike announced the color of year for 2014, and I´m thrilled over that it´s “Bluegreen” – the combination of Norwegian’s two favorite colors, blue and green. We are talking beautiful shades such as pale aquamarine, to dark petroleum – so, so likeable!
All shades are inspired by the Norwegian nature, and works perfectly in the northern light conditions, also as a base color. The advantage of this color is that it can be combined with almost any other color, so it should be really easy to work with! Maybe it´s time to do something about those white walls?
The color on the chopping board is called Alice FR140 – lovely, right? We all got it in our press kit yesterday, and I had to try it right away!
So what do you think? Are shades of bluegreen something you would like to have in your home or on your walls? I certainly would, I just have to decide on what shade I want, and which room to start with *smile*!

I do love all shades of bluegreen. So it’s funny that this is the colour of the year. And I didn’t knew that blue and green the Norwegian main colours. 😉
Ha en fortsatt kjempefin dag.
That´s very, very nice…. the colour is wonderful ♥
Herlige farger. Hos meg er de gjengangere fra før, så det var midt i blinken. D
Vakkert – vakkert ! Gleder meg til å teste noen nyanser. Veldig glad i blågrønt 🙂
Nyt kvelden!
