I get a lot of press launches during a day, and I love when I get beautiful inspiring photos like these from Høie of Scandinavia in my inbox, that I can share with you. The Norwegian stylist Kirsten Visdal has done a fantastic job styling these different and inspiring environments, not only showing their news for F/W 2015, but also giving us lots of ideas for our bedroom!
One of my favorite stylings is the “blue on blue” in the first photo. I´m actually thinking about doing something similar in the guest room in our house. Blue is a very calming and comfortable color so it should be prefect for a bedroom, and I have to try out some of the new blue colors by Jotun Lady that I wrote about in my “Jotun Lady Favorites 2016” blogpost 🙂
Although I prefer dark colors these days, there is something about natural and serene color schemes like the one above that I never get tired of. I would love waking up in this beautiful bedroom, starting my day with a coffee in bed…
Loving the sophisticated mood in this bedroom. Keeping it dark, and choosing luxurious materials, makes it elegant and sexy for sure!
It might have something to do with the season we are in, but brown is a color that is really growing on me (again), and it certainly looks good together with white. Using brown is a great way to warm it up a little and is a nice replacement for black, if you are tired of “The Black & White – look” that we have had for a while now.
Contrasts is always a good idea, and I guess feathers too..? An extra thumbs up for the stylish bed.
So which one of these bedrooms do you like the most?

this even makes it hard to choose between a dark bedroom or a light bedroom, they look both so cozy!
I favor dark bedrooms because they are for sleeping and sunlight wakes me up! Ours is a very smoky purple/grey with pale pink accents (for me of course) I love the feather bedding! Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the first one 🙂 I’m also into the darker colors. Although I honestly must admit that i find your bedroom even more beautiful 🙂
