I promised you that I would show you some more pictures after my little spring makeover in my living room, and here they are. As you can see, I´ve added hints of blue to bring more colors to our normally colorless living room…

I´ve also put the sofa back to where it was the first time as I need change every now and then. By moving some of the furniture I feel that I get a whole new living room. Do you do this often?

My little dog “Conrad” is posing for his mama. I didn´t have the heart to move him when I was taking this picture. The couch is his favorite spot.

I think blue gives a great contrast to our brownish sofa and our otherwise white/grey living room. It feels so much more fresh and serene after adding these hints of blue.

Well, I guess you have every angle of our living room now *smile*, but if you feel like seeing more you can click here.

What colors are you going for this spring?

Thank you so very much for all your greetings on my post yesterday – you are all sweethearts!

I always nice to get some love from the magazines out there, so when the Norwegian magazine “Rom 1-2-3” asked if they could profile my Scrabble DIY project I was very happy.

It´s been a while since I did this Scrabble picture, so it was fun to dig it out from the archive again. I have actually been thinking about making some more of these, but finding the Scrabble letters here in Norway have proven to be more difficult than I thought. Anyone have some good ideas where to find wooden tiles like these?

You will find the article in the April issue of Rom 1-2-3, but I am not sure if it is out yet. However,  luckily I got a magazine in the mail today so I can give you all a little peak.

Hello everybody! How was your weekend? I had a great weekend in Gothenburg; shopping and enjoying the city. It´s so nice to have a little getaway now and then.

Mondays aren´t exacly my favorite day of the week, and when it´s depressing weather as well I need something to color up my day. That´s when it´s so good to enjoy the fantastic colors of Rie Elise Larsen´s new collection and just feel the sunshine break through the clouds *smile*.

Rie Elise Larsen summer collection is filled with cute things with happy colors for your home. You should definitely take a look at the rest of their collection on their website – it´s such a joyful collection!

Easter is coming up, and some of you probably want to start a bit early with the decoration. A tree like this is an easy and very decorative way to bring Easter into your home. This is also a great activity you can do with with your children. I remember I made eggs like these when I was young, and it was very fun. I actually think my mother has some of the eggs still….

Have you ever made Easter eggs?

In a small town of Charlottenlund just north of Copenhagen the Danish designer Nina Kejser and her Italian husband Mario Iadanza live in this delightful, modern home. I find their apartment very inspiring and hopefully it will inspire you too…

I think their mix of a modern and a romantic style is perfect together. It creates a warmer and cosier atmosphere even though almost everything is white. It´s often easier to combine more styles if you stick to one color like they to here.

I wish I were as organized as they are – I would love to have a closet looking like this, wouldn´t  you? An inspirationboard is also a great idea to have in your walk-in-closet so you can get inspired before you get dressed.

All the rooms are so calm and serene, and they kind of tell a story…. Just by looking at their home, you get the feeling that it is nice people that lives there… I love when the home says something about you!

Do you like this apartment? Do you see anything in particular that you like?
