Hello everybody! How was your weekend? Mine started with a very nice Friday night with friends over for dinner. I showed you a little peek of the table on Friday, but here you have some more photos as I promised you.

I used two homemade linen table runners and my blue Tine K Home napkins (that I made a homemade candle out of, which I unfortunately forgot to use together with the matching napkins)
I also decorated each napkin with a wood anemone, which I also had in a couple of small vases on the table.

I like to keep the table simple but still have a few details that catches the eye, something lovely napkins and flowers does very well I think.

I hope you like it, and that it might inspire you next time you are setting a table.
You can see more pictures of the table here if you like.

Have a wonderful Monday, everybody

Today we´re having some friends over for dinner and as I´ve told you before, I like to set the table the day before so I can enjoy it and have time for experimenting. I ended up sewing myself two table runners as well, and I´m quite happy with the result. Here you have a little sneak peak of the table setting until it´s all done. I´ll show you more pictures in the week to come.

I also went out in the woods to pick some of these white lovely flowers that we call “Hvitveis” here in Norway. I don´t know if there´s even a name for this flower in English, but if it is, please tell me.

Have a lovely weekend darlings. Do you have any exciting plans?

A few touches of pink gives the balcony a summery feeling. We have amazing weather here in Oslo at the moment, which means that it´s time to buy some more flowers for the balcony. I started with this pink one for now, but there will be more soon…

I´m also thinking about getting more furniture for the balcony, so it´s possible to eat dinner outside etc. My plan is to build a table like I did for my kitchen a few months ago. I´ll show you when it´s all done. In the meanwhile I will enjoy my little round table and the old chairs.

What are your plans with the outside area this year? Have you started buying flowers yet?

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not make it extra special when you have time. Imagine how wonderful it would be to start a day with a table like this one…

Notice all the cute little details on this breakfast table. Hopefully it will give you some ideas until next time you are setting the breakfast table.

Have a lovely day everybody!
