Hello dear readers! What could be better than starting of August with a colorful summer table? The other day I had a funny time setting this table out on our terrace, using turquoise and red – a fresh summery combination don´t you think?

I made some small flags on a stick that I added in each glass together with a napkin and cutlery. This is an idea you can use if you want an informal setting, and if you want to do something different than usual.

I hope this gave you some ideas for your summer table.
See more pictures of the table setting here. You can also find other table settings that I´ve done here.

Have a fabulous Monday everyone!

To remind myself that there has been a big change in the living room since we moved in a month ago, I´ve made a BEFORE & AFTER collage. It´s scary how soon you forget.

Oh boy! The white floor makes a huge difference don´t you think?
The walls were light beige, and the wall behind the sofa was grey. By painting everything white, our living room looks much bigger and brighter – don´t you agree?

So what do you think? Which one do you prefer?
You can see more after pictures of our living room here if you like.

Thank you for your comments on my last post – you warm my heart.

Happy Friday everyone! Today I want to introduce you to a wonderful blog called Sofies Haus. I have followed her for quite some time, and I´m overwhelmed by her talent and her stunning home and photos, so if you haven´t visited her blog yet, it is about time! It´s filled with beauty, great tips and delicious recipes.

Anja lives together with her husband and three girls in a village next to Cologne, Germany. She is inspired by everyday beauty, and have for almost 2 years been capturing beautiful moments in life with her camera. Lucky for us that she shares them on her blog..

Anja looks stunning herself too, and she gladly shares some tips on fashion and make-up as well.

She also have a online shop with lots of goodies, that you can find here.

Thank you so very much for all your sweet comments on my latest posts. I´m so lucky to have you as my readers. Happy weekend, darlings!

Do you remember my post “5 ways to decorate with a ladder” from last September? Well, I have used one of my own tips and have now displayed some of my shoes on a ladder. Shoes are pretty, so I think it´s a great idea to use them as decoration in a bedroom or a hallway.

And since we´re in our bedroom, I might as well show you my night stand too. As a reminder to live life well, I have this print that I´ve made out of a poem beside my bed. I love these wise words.

Click here and here, if you want more tips on how to use a ladder
And here you have some pictures of our last bedroom.

So what do you think? Is this ladder idea something you could go for as well?
