Typically me is to do something totally different than I´m suppose to do! When I have hundred things on my to do list, I usually do something else that is much more fun…. Like painting!
For those of you that follow me on Instagram (stylizimoblog) have seen that I´m painting a white wall black today. I had no idea that it would make the room look bigger, and I love the contrast as well as the dramatic dramatic look the room gets.
So now I´m walking around looking for more walls to paint *smile*

What a fantastic weekend it has been in Amsterdam!  I really wish I could stay longer so I could explore more of the charming city. Time travels fast in good company, that´s for sure.
As said earlier, I went with two other Norwegian bloggers, Anette and Melissa, and they were such sweet girls and fun to hang out with.. I hope it won´t be long until next time.

The best thing about this weekend was definitely all the wonderful girls that I´ve met. I finally got to meet dear Desiree behind Vosges Paris. She was very welcoming and charming, and I totally love her personality! We had dinner together a few times, and she was also our personal shopping guide on Sunday before we went home. She showed us some amazing interior shops that I have to write more about later…
There were 120 girls at Meet the Blogger event, so I wasn´t able to talk to everybody of course, but luckily I got to know talented Frida Ramstedt – Trendenser (You should check out her new FAB magazine on iTunes btw!), as she was one of the speakers at the event. She also joined us on our shopping on Sunday, and she was one of those girls you like right away – very cute.
Another lovely woman I talked a lot with was the founder of BODIE and FOU, Karine. I have been a fan of her online shop for quite some time, so it was an honour to meet her in Amsterdam.

You can see more photos from the event “Meet the Blogger” we attended at on Saturday here if you like.
I´ll be back with more about our weekend soon – so stay tuned!

In the latest issue of Lifestyle Magazine I´m lucky to be one of the contributors. On page 41 I give you 10 table setting tips for your summer table. (in Norwegian)

Lifestyle Magazine is a magazine for those who are genuinely interested in quality, branded products and services that make life “better.” Here you will find content such as fashion, travel, cars, boats, motorcycles, jewelry, health & wellness, interiors, restaurants, real estate, mobile, and more.

You can see their e-magazine here if you´d like.

The pictures in the magazine is from a table setting I did last summer.
I´m looking forward to have many good moments under this tree again…
A weekend in Amsterdam is soon to be over, but first it’s time to capture some pictures, and do a little shopping before we head home. I’ll show you some pictures of our fantastic weekend in days to come.
Wish you all a lovely day!

The apartment we styled this week was not appealing at all and it desperately needed a makeover with some personality.

I promised you some more photos from the apartment, so this is how it looks after Stylizimo Stylingworked some magic *smile*…

Master bedroom
Bathroom
Details in hallway
The kitchen was completely empty, so “a breakfast for two” made it a lot more cosy I think.

I have uploaded a lot of pictures of the apartment including before pictures if you are curious.
There you also will be able to see where most of the items we have used in the styling have been bought.

So what do you think? Does it look appealing? (Make sure you see the before pictures!)

Happy weekend everybody! I´m enjoying Amsterdam at the moment – what an amazing city!

The day is here! I´m heading to Amsterdam with Anette and Melissa for the Meet the Blogger event. We are going to be there until Sunday so we have a lot of time getting to know the city.

Mazzo is one of the restaurants we are planning to have lunch while we are there. The interior at Mazzo looks amazing, and they say that the food suppose to be fabulous as well!

It´s going to be great to meet new people, and I´m looking forward to learn new things, go shopping, eat delicious food, and drink good wine! Oh, boy – nothing is better than a girls trip, right? *smile*

I promise to take a lot of pictures so I can share them later here with you!

Wish a wonderful day!
