Today I love… Beat Light from Tom Dixon.

“Deas & Mia” is one of the newest members on Stylizimo.com, and lucky for us, Line shares some really inspiring and beautiful photos from their house built in 1974, that they have been renovating to be a light, delicate home. With a white canvas they use wood and natural hues to soften it up and to create a contrast. Everything looks so delicate and thought through, and it´s a real pleasure to see the results that they have come up with so far…

Instead of drawing at paper, Line lets her kids draw on white fabric. This way she can make unique pillows for their couch afterwords – what a wonderful idea! Read more about this on her blog.

Old boards underneath the sink creates an incredibly tough expression, and the Jieldé lamp above the mirror makes it all complete, don´t you agree?

Framing your kids drawings and putting it together with quotes like Line has done here is a great idea.

You can see more of this lovely home here. Line also has a great blog, that you´ll find here.
Thank you so much for sharing on Stylizimo, Line. I look forward to see more…

Louise Roe is a brand that have appealed to me from the first time I saw it. You can right away see that it´s high quality products, not only on the price tag *smile*, but on their design and use of fabrics. At Formex we could view some of their newcomers for Fall 2012, and we have a lot to look forward to.

These glass containers is my favorite from their new collection. Hopefully you will see these in my kitchen or office this fall.

We really have a lot of goodies to wait for this fall, haven´t we? I can´t wait!
Do you see anything you like?

I spoke to a lot of the exhibitors at Formex, and one of them was the sweet Swedish calligrapher and designer Ylva Skarp. Ylva turns calligraphy into lovely patterns and incorporates them into her own range of prints and home wares. Here you have a few pictures of her work.

There is no doubt that this girl knows her calligraphy – what a handwriting! My personal favorite is her posters with only one word.
But I really admire all of Ylva´s work, and after talking to her, I like her even more. She was such a sweetheart!
Have you seen her work before? Maybe you already have some of her work in your home? If you have, you can share pictures with us here, and tag her work with Ylva Skarp. It´s always fun to see how you display it in your home…., and probably extra fun for Ylva *smile*
You can find more info, and view more of her work here if you´d like.

So now I´m back from my little trip to Formex, Stockholm. It was a looong day and my feet still hurts after walking a whole day, but I had a great time looking at some of the news that we can expect here in Scandinavia this A/W. Did you enjoy following me on Instagram?

My first thoughts after visiting Formex is that we will still see a lot of natural materials in the upcoming season. I saw a lot of wood – all kinds, and there was still a lot of animals and nature prints on pillows etc.

Aren’t these just the cutest? Perfect for the childrens room…or at MY place. I need that hedgehog pillow!

Another clear trend is the harlequin pattern. It´s a lot of it, and I love it! We sure do have some lovely graphic patterns to look forward to this fall/winter…

It´s not the typical Autum colors this year, that´s for sure. These colors will brighten up any cold or rainy day.
Are you ready for some bright colors this fall?

Luckily we can still crawl up in comfortable knitted blankets this fall, and to warm up the cold colors and graphic patterns, we can add details in smashing metallics like gold and copper, and that suits me just perfect. What about you? Do you like what you see?

There will but more updates from the fair in Stockholm – so stay tuned!

Today I´m actually going to another IKEA event. This time it´s a bloggers event with 50 girls so I guess it will be a social and fun evening. I´ll update you on Instagram. (stylizimoblog)
Have a great weekend my dears!
