Say it with letters

Being creative with letters is always fun. Myke minutter have used letters as a theme to celebrate her daughter first day at school – I mean, how sweet isn´t that? I think the table setting looks absolutely fantastic and I love the contrast between the soft pink and black.

I have been a “By Nord” fan for quite a while now, and I know I´m not alone, as they are very popular in many countries because of their lovely nature inspired products.
After seeing their news for A/W 2012, I will say that it is as beautiful as their previous collections… Here are some inspirational pictures from their new catalogue.

Their big newcomer this year is their SPA products. I had the chance to smell and test some of them when I was in Stockholm at Formex, and my guess is that this will be another big hit. Can´t wait until they hit the stores – can you?

White elephants in my office

Just popping by to show you my new favorite in the office. This cute elephant notebook came home with me from Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm last week. Isn´t it cute?

Svenskt Tenn is an adventure of itself, and is absolutely worth a visit of you´re in town. It´s a store filled with lots of colors and lots of patterns.

I just got in the door after being at a blog-meet-up at Home&Cottage in Vinterbro, and I´ve had a perfect Saturday evening with sweet girls, lovely tapas, delicious cupcakes, and many smiles…. + I got a nice goodiebag!
Thanks to all the girls that put this together. I had a great time!

Tablesetting: Celebration

The weekend is here and some of you are probably expecting some friends of family over for dinner. We had a sweet couple over for seafood last week, to celebrate their engagement, so I took out my best china and silverware so it was all set for a nice evening with our lovely friends. Hopefully the table setting will give you some ideas for your table this weekend. Friends, family of just you –  make sure to do the little extra every now and then.. *smile*

Very simple and serene, but with all the seafood it became very colorful and nice. Sometimes less is more, and maybe fresh flowers is all you need.

I´m soon off to the Gift & Interior Trade Fair 2012 again to look at the rest of the exhibitions. I hope to see some of you there.

Nomess – organize with style!

Autumn means new collections and a lot of trade fairs, and today it´s time for the Gift & Interior Trade Fair 2012 here in Norway. Even though Formex in Stockholm is much bigger, I hope to see something new –  something from Norway!

But let´s go back to Formex and my favorites from Stockholm´s trade fair; Have you heard of Nomess? They design every day design products for organizing the home, and is an other great Danish brand to love. I especially like their clear drawers as they are perfect for storing shoes. It would be heaven to have a full stack of these in a walk-in-closet some day ( dreaming…*smile* )

They also make small furniture as this cool side table that also can be used as a nightstand, and the clothing rack speaks for itself I suppose.

New to their collection is this “4-dots table”. I really love the design, and the 4 dots on the top.

As you can see, Nomess have multiple choices so it´s easy to keep our homes organized. It´s very my cup up tea – is it yours?
