Yesterday I spent my entire day at the Oslo Design Fair (former Gave-og interiørmessen) and I came home very impressed by all the beautiful exhibitions and the inspiring talks on the stage.
The theme of the design Fair is “The Return of Cosy” and is all about how to make a home cosy and finding out why we now have this renewed interest in cosiness, both internationally and in Norway.
It´s many ways to make a home feel cosy and it´s very individual what people actually think what makes a home cosy, so in the end I guess it´s up to you to find your own way…
I did find a lot of nice products though and here are some of the exhibitions and products that caught my eye: (First photo) I´ve written about the Dare To Organize system before. But I just have to show it again, as I´m so impressed by this clever design!
2. The Danish “Händverk” had a lot of interesting products. I have a big crush on this daybed!
At the 100% Norway exhibition I found a lot of nice products, and some of them that I haven´t mentioned here on the blog before is this Lolly by Gridy. The Lolly family consist of a stacking stool, small bench and coffee table.
…and talking about cosiness; what´s more cosy that cuddling up in a nice throw in front of the fireplace? Loving the “Norway Cloth” collection by Jon Pettersen
Andreas Bergsaker´s lamps “Piedistallo” and “Petiole” is so so beautiful. Let´s home someone will set them into production.
Here are some of the details from the stylist Per Olav Sølvberg´s amazing interpret of a cosy living room. It´s all about the details and the objects that tells a story…
