I´m happy to reveal what I have been using a lot of my time on lately; The talented illustrator Mona Stenseth Erlandsen (Emmeselle.no) and I have made a series of 8 butterfly illustrations in limited edition of only 100 pieces. All signed and numbered silk screens, lovingly made by hand. The collection is called STYLIZIMO by Emmeselle.
The series is about those we have lost, but who forever will live in our heart. About the gratitude we have for the time we had together – and for all the good memories.
I chose to use butterflies because these means something very special for me. After my grandmother died, butterflies have appeared on the most strange places, and I can´t help getting the feeling that it is my grandmother keeping an eye on me and making sure I´m fine.
The collection will be available at emmeselle.no from 28th of January.
Here is a video of the process each and every illustrations have been through.

Nice thoughts about the people we are missing every day. I agree that butterfly are the perfect symbol for soul. Even the transformation of a butterfly has it’s meaning.
