On Friday I visited my grandfather, and I got these beautiful lilacs from his garden. Lilacs is one of my favorite flower, and I love when they fill the whole house with a smell of summer… I actually took some cuttings with me as well, so I can pick lilacs in my own garden in the future – oh, joy!
As you can see, things are coming together in the dining area of the kitchen too. This corner has been a bit empty until now, but with two Frame sideboards ( from By Lassen ) we now have extra storage that goes perfect with our new black kitchen. Very happy to have a new place to decorate with flowers etc. too, of course 😉

Oh I love lilacs too! Maybe in few weeks they are blooming in eastern Finland too 🙂
Fina syrener på fina sideboards! 🙂
Tänkte fråga om AJ klockan – är det den som är 29 cm som du har?
Gosh, Nina! These frame sideboards are just so perfect! Not mentioning the lilacs in the lyngby vase. Love love love them 🙂
Nina, I love your house. Did you paint your walls with a slightly warm white paint with yellow undertones, or did you use a cooler white with gray undertones? I’m trying to go with a similar look and I’m torn between Benjamin Moore “Snowfall White” (slightly warm), or “Chantilly Lace” (slightly cool) paint. Please let me know your thoughts, or even the brand/color of white paint you used. Thanks Nina!
Hello Brett 🙂
Thank you so much!
The white paint we have used has a yellow undertone, so it goes better with the white frames and furniture we have in the house. It´s actually exactly the same as the new cover on our Ikea sofa with “Grasbö” cover.
Here is the color: http://www.jotun.com/no/no/b2c/colour-inspiration/colours/interior/2930000704701791_Interior.aspx
My advice is to check the whites you already have in your house, so they will go well together..
Best,
Nina
