Hearing creative people´s stories is very inspiring, and maybe that´s why I loved last years DESIGN TALK in Bergen so much! Hearing all those outstanding people sharing their stories truly give you a boost.
That´s why I want to share with you that it´s happening again this year, and you should´t miss it! This year’s theme is “SALUT TO CRAFTERS AND MAKERS” conveyed through storytelling, and the keywords for the event this year are honesty, personal, real, balance, tradition, handmade, substance, and craftsmanship…
There will be some really interesting contributors this year too. Some of them are:
Line Klein, who is a food and lifestyle photographer based in Copenhagen, Denmark,
Hanna Nova Beatrice, design writer, book editor and editor in chief for the trendsetting Swedish magazine @Residence.
Helle Tjaberg, the former editor in chief of the magazine ELLE Decoration Norway, and currently a trend expert and advisor.
Fredrik Saroea from the Norwegian band Datarock, and owner of the restaurant Lysverket in Bergen.
and the four creative stylists Hilde Mork, Kirsten Visdal, Jannicke Kråkvik & Alessandro D’Orazio and Josefin Hååg, will talk about their handwork & tell their story at @bergendesignstory 17 of October 2015 in Bergen
I´ve heard that there is only a few tickets left, so if you don´t want to miss out, you should get a ticket soon. Design Talk is this year also an important part of the well known design fair in Bergen, Grieghallen. Included in the ticket price is therefore a weekend pass to the fair Interiør & boligmessen – An INSPIRING WEEKEND in other words!
I will be attending for sure, and I really hope to see you too!

I did buy a ticket for exactly those reasons but sadly I found out that only a couple of talks would be in English the vast majority in Norwegian which is so disappointing. I bet it was awesome… Maybe you can feed back to the organisers on this point Nina. XO
