Isn´t it interesting how easy a room can change just by changing a few items? In the first photo you see my fiancé´s home office, and in the second photo is how it looks after the styling I did for Ferm Living. The first one is clearly more masculine and industrial because of all the black, but also because of the working lamp and the industrial drawer unit.
By adding light wood, brass and a totally different lamp it suddenly looks a lot more feminine. The thing is that I felt really at home in “Feminine office”, so I have now switched office with him and keept it as it is. He has now moved into my previous office. A new environment is always good, right? *smile*
Which look would you prefer?

Nydelige bildet begge to, men elsker det siste du gjorde for ferm LIVING. Og Y-stolen, elsk!!
Håper du har hatt en fin helg og får en fin uke vennen! :-*
Jeg er hjemme med pjusk Hedda Sofie idag!
GODKLEM ***
I would go for the second one! 🙂 Nice job you did!
It would be so difficult to choose – both version are gorgeous! And strangely, the more masculine one speaks to me louder. 🙂

P.S. It’s a first time I am actually leaving a comment after coming across your blog and browsing it for hours – you are absolutely fantastic!
Both are gorgeous, but I feel more attracted to the natural wood and curves of the second one. Plus, I’m a dearest fan of Ferm Living ^^
Really very different, but I like them both!
I would prefer the the first look, but definitely the computer from the second photo!
I really like both but would prefer the second option, at least for a woman, because it is a little warmer and lightful. Great tip how to change the atmosphere of a room with only a few steps!
I do love both but I think I would prefer the second, warmer, lighter office.
Fantastic inspiration to show you how you can change a few things & achieve a completely different feel.
Love the first look!

My favorite would be the first look, with the second chair! 🙂
Good work! I really love the wall!
I prefer the second desktop, I see it more cozy and natural
A greeting
I prefer the second one, as it feels more organic and nature-like!
SMASHINGS båda två!!
Maken hade helt klart valt den översta bilden, men jag går nog för den lite mjukare varianten nederst.
Härlig inspiration

I still don’t know how you do it! What an amazing job you did!
Thank you so much, dear! 🙂
Looks great Nina!!!
Thank you, Riikka! 🙂
Both look great! I would like to know where the table is from. Or is it self made?
Thank you, Phil! Yes, the table is selfmade. You can see how a made a similar table here: http://euf.wrm.mybluehost.me/diy-new-trendy-dining-table-in-1-2-3/
The legs are from Ikea.
This desk/table is beautiful! I was curious which type of stain you used for this one? You mentioned driftwood stain in your table DIY. Was it the same here? (It looks lighter in colour, so I wasn’t sure.)
Thanks so much! Your blog is beautiful and I’m thoroughly enjoying getting lost in it this cold Sunday. 🙂
