The bathroom is a room I rarely blog about, so today I thought I could show you some pictures how our bathroom looks like in our “new” house. The room is renovated in 2005 so I guess we won´t make any changes for a while, even though there are a few things I would like to have done differently… { There always is, isn´t there? smile }
An olive tree by the shower does wonders to liven up this otherwise white/grey room. On the sink I have some straw in a little vase together with some cloths that are rolled up. I also have a scented candle by Durance to get the feeling of beeing in a SPA {smile}.
When it comes to soap and lotion my favorites right now are “Savon Liquide” and “Extra pur olive lavande” from Compagnie de Provence. Do you have any favorites?
I hope these few simple decoration ideas gave you some inspiration to liven up your bathroom. Having a cosy and welcoming bathroom does wonders when you struggle to get out of bed in the morning {smile}.

Many hugs, Ingrid
Wonderful room- perfect to start in a creative day 😉
I love your bathroom! Timeless and elegant! I had something like that in mind for our new one! I will pin it to my Pinterest Bath Room board as soon as Pinterest is working again. If it o.k. with you.
It looks wonderful!

Nagyon szép, tetszik!
Lovely bathroom! I like the color of the towels you’ve chosen. I am having huge storage issues in my bathroom and the kids’ uggly bath toys don’t help either 🙂 Have a great week!
It looks so refreshing, thank you for the idea.
You did a great job on that. I suggest you add more bathroom fixtures just to make it look even better.
This is the bathroom I want to have. Everything fits from its decoration, furniture and tiles being used. It’s Awesome.
bathroom fixtures
You guys are right! It is a lovely bathroom, with perfect accessories, and bathroom fixtures. It’s one of the most elegant bathrooms I have ever seen.

Wow- your bathroom is great! But, from looking through your other pictures I think I get that this boarder is a little too … how should I put it… bold and purposeful, probably? I think the idea of painting it in grey to give the wall a cleaner finish sounds great. Guess, you could sand the tiles beforehand, keep the rough texture and paint right over it? Maybe this would give it a grantite-ey finish to match your floor.
I’m looking forward to seeing how you’re going to get rid of your little bugger 😉
Greetings,
Yash
I would mix up 5 different shades of grey to match your floor tiles, then paint your border in the different tones to match your floor tiles, and viola! the perfect matching border…
Molto bello ed elegante il tuo bagno, ma a mio modesto parere, ridipingerei dello stesso grigio del pavimento, la porzione di parete tra piastrelle e soffitto, per dargli più carattere!!!

Very valuable advice. In my opinion it is worth consult manufacturers, who are often able to make specially suitable bathroom furniture to fit.

Hi there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one? Thanks a lot!|
