It’s weekend and we need some smashing colors to celebrate, so this happy and colorful apartment is a perfect start of this weekend.
I adore everything about this apartment, and you should pay attention to all the details because there’s a lot of them!
The picture collage, the DIY table, the chair and the pillows are some of my favorites in this living room.
A round dining table makes it extra cosy.
The colors in the bedroom and the bathroom truly gives me energy – so lovely!
Notice the use of driftwood over the bathtub. An idea to steal maybe?
I love the tiles, the open shelves and all the cute mix of color! I wish I was better to use more color myself, but our kitchen is dark brown and this works better with white kitchens I think.
A shelf to put lovely cookbooks is always nice in a kitchen.
This hallway makes me smile – I just LOVE the feminine look of it!
Isn’t this apartment absolutely adorable?
Do you use a lot of colors this fall?

Love the closet;)
Thanks for cheering me up with this!
The apartment is sooo lovely, I love every detail of it…but there’s one thing I’m intrigued with. I have noticed, many scandinavian interiors don’t have curtains although they’re surounded with buildings. What about the privacy during the evening?
In my country, people protect their privacy by all means, and the result is often a dark and non-welcoming interior 🙁
A beautiful home and a beautiful blog! I’m adding you ti my bloggroll. 😉
Have a nice weekend!
Tusen takk for ett herlig innlegg!! Her var det mye som jeg likte!
millie: In Scandinavia we usually love to let the light into our homes, so usually we have light curtains or no curtains at all like this. I guess we don’t care if the neighbours see us 🙂
I can see that Americans like to hide behind blinds and curtains too, at least here in LA….
Fargebarn: Thank you for adding me to your blogroll! Much appreciated:)
Glad you like the apartment everybody! <3
I love the living room! Want a cookbook shelf like that!
Gorgeous! The perfect Scandanavian white interior with pops of great color. I LOVE the cookbook rack–what a great idea! I hope to steal it someday.
The cookbook rack is a winner 🙂 I want one too!!!
I think people don’t appreciate what they have the most. My town, Herceg Novi,Montenegro has almost 300 sunny days in a year, and we’re not thankful.
We should all look up to Scandinavians
Yes, we have the same here in California where I live now:) And people are hiding from the sun. As a Norwegian I love the sun, because in Norway we see it very seldom… At least in the wintertime…
I heard Montenegro is very beautiful though. I want to go there sometime.
xo, Nina
Luv the use of the color blue throughout the home
It is very beautiful and wild, and you’re very welcome to come. That idea makes me happy.
A lot of Norwegian are visiting us for years, btw 🙂
hugs 😀
Well, I will definitely tell you when I’m coming. I’ll probably need some tips 🙂
Hugs, Nina
So FRESH! Makes me long for summer..! :))
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Nina, this is really gorgeous!! I came to your blog via Kalanicut and the BYW class. Definitely adding this to my reader. I like white and bright interiors as well, just like what you’ve featured but unfortunately, where I am in London, it’s usually grey and not sunny 🙁 Love your style and your eye… the scandinavians really have a great sense of style!
Nyyyydelige bilder :0) Jeg er veldig glad i turkis, men klarer ikke å bruke det på den måten som det er brukt her. Det var skikkelig stilig.
I høst har det gått i mye lilla her hjemme. Alle toner av lille egentlig. <3
Klem Jane.
What a great apartment. I love the domed window in the living room and the closet. I guess white is a nice backdrop to work with, it is easy to do. I have to search your blog for some pics of your kitchen. Mine is light to. I have vanilla cabinets with a ” wooden” worktop and white walls.
this place is so fresh and cosy! very lovely!
Älskar soffbordet! Underbar lägenhet. Tänk om man kunde få till det med lite färg sådär. Jag blir så fort trött på färg…
Glad you all liked the apartment 🙂
I love the colours… A lot of what my (future) home looks like, will be thanks to your blog! 🙂
Åh, denne var superfin 🙂
Wow, wunderful Picture’s, thanks!
