As a big fan of Scandinavian design, I´m happy to say that Danish Imerco will relaunch the iconic enamel bowls from Norwegian Cathrineholm, designed by the internationally acknowledged Norwegian designer, Grete Prytz Kittelsen (1017-2010). These bowls found its way into thousands of homes, particularly in Scandinavia and the US in the 1960, and are today design icons and popular collectibles.
First out will be the “Stripes Collection” from Cathrineholm, consisting of five bowls in different sizes and four different colors, and I´am sure they will be a big hit with its modern design and fresh colors. A lovely (Norwegian) statement piece that will spice up every room!
My personal favorite is the blue bowls, and I love how good they look together with the Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Mega (as I started collecting on this Christmas). A great way to add some color, right? Which one do you like the most?
Grete Prytz Kittelsen´s vision with the enamelled kitchen products from Cathrineholm was to make high quality products at a reasonable price, so everyone could enjoy nice design – I love that!
The “Stripes Collection” from Cathrineholm will be available in Norwegian stores from the 1st of April.
