Pillows are the perfect project for anyone with a little sewing skill and creativity. This is a great way to make easy changes in a room in an inexpensive way.

One of my latest projects is this white butterfly pillow, and today I’ll give you 8 steps on how you can make one yourself…

You can find stamps and ink pads at Martha Stewart’s craftstore.

Do you often make your own pillows? Have you tried using stamps before?

If you have made any pillows that you want to show me, you can upload them on Stylizimo.com
You can see other DIY projects here

Thanks to everybody who are voting for me in the newspaper DAGBLADET.
It’s actually possible to vote EVERY DAY for a whole month! *smile*

Have you seen this cabin over at Skona Hem? I saw it yesterday and right away I fell in love with the industrial style combined with all the homemade furniture made of wood. I think this makes it extra personal, warm and welcoming. Don’t you agree?
Notice the pendel lamp made with cutlery – fantastic!

What do you think if this cabin? Do you see any ideas you like to steal?

A while back a Taiwanese interior magazine invited me to share some decorating ideas and photos from my home in their November issue! I thought this was very exciting, and of course I said yes! Today I got pictures from their magazine, and this is what it looks like…
Everything is in Chinese, but the content is about me, my blog, my community
Stylizimo.com and these decorating tips:
5 home decoration tips:
Fresh flowers is a MUST in every home!
Scented candles makes it always a bit more pleasant.
Mirrors help to increase the feeling of space.
If you like to change colors as often, keep the colors neutral on furnitures and walls, and add colors on pillows, flowers and other small inexpensive decor.
Paint bowls, vases, candle holder etc. that you don’t like anymore in a color that you like. Re-use is really HOT these days!

Thank you so much Chloe for finding interest in my blog and my community!
I’m really proud to be featured in your interior magazine – it looks lovely.

First I want to thank you all for all the lovely comments on my posts yesterday! You are all so sweet! I´m very lucky to have you as my readers.

The website “Norwegian Interior Blogs” (NIB) has a new challenge this month, and this time they want us to show our living room and how we decorate it in the autumn.

This is how our living room looks like in our apartment in Los Angeles…

As you can see it isn’t very “American” in our living room. I love the Scandinavian look, so I dragged it all the way over the Atlantic – that way I don’t get homesick so quickly *smile*
All of the pillows are made by me, and I’ll show you more of these later.
The little sink house is from Walther & Co, and is a Christmas gift from last year. I love these cute little houses.
If you want to enter their challenge as well or just want inspiration,  you can click here
You can see more photos from my home here
Do you change colors in your living room from season to season too? I change way too often 🙂

 Happy News!
I also have some happy news for you my friends. I got engaged this weekend! Yes, my boyfriend Steinar finally got down on his knee this Saturday on our trip to Malibu. I wanted to tell you so bad yesterday, but we had to tell our family and friends first.
I’m very excited and I’m looking forward to explore some new wedding blogs for the time to come…

If you know of any good ones, please let me know!
