As I´m a big fan of blue these days, this year´s Easter table setting became white and dark blue.
I started by making some blue marble Easter Eggs that I hang in a twig above the dining table as a centrepiece. Then I folded the bunny napkins that I showed you this Saturday to emphasise the Easter feeling. As for tablecloth I used a couple of beige table runners in linen, as I didn´t want to make it too formal as it´s meant for breakfast/lunch. For dinner it would be nice with the dark blue tablecloth I used on my New Year´s Eve table setting for example.
The blue marble eggs was actually very easy to make, and took me only a few minutes. All you need is eggs, a nail polish in the color you want to use ( I used “Prussian wool” by H&M ), some water in a disposable plastic container and some rubber gloves (so you don´t get nailpolish all over your fingers).
HOW TO MAKE MARBLE EASTER EGGS:
Fill the plastic container with lukewarm water and add a few drops of the nail color you want to use. Then use a finger to swirl it a bit around to make a pattern. Then dip the egg and swirl it around so you cover the whole egg. Put the egg on some paper to dry.

Vakkert! Morsom måte å dekorere egg på, jeg har forsøkt det på “glassegg” og det fungerer supert! God påske!
Takk for det! Så fint å høre at det fungerer på glassegg også – kjekt å vite 🙂 God påske til deg også, Nina!
