Thank you so much for your feedback on the rug I tried out in the living room. I kind of liked the warmth it added ( as many of you also did ), but I came to the conclusion that is was a bit too much, since we also have a wooden ceiling. It also made quite a mess, as small parts of the rug keeps falling off all the time – not very practical if you don´t like to vacuum all the time 🙂
So until I have found a better suggestion, I´m back to this…

Hei Nina 🙂
Er det ikea sofa du har her? Söderhamn?
I såfall – er du fornøyd med den?
Det stemmer! Vi er veldig fornøyd. Den krever derimot litt puffing for å beholde formen ( noe de fleste sofaer i grunn trenger )
Good decision!
Thank you! 🙂
Hi Nina,
I love your blog, and I also love how you see a home as a constant project, rather than a done thing. Always new things.
I understand your point about your rug – I bought new dining chairs recently made of wicker to add warmth to the room, and had to return them in the end and keep the plastic black ones. My feeling was that it was ‘too much’, although most of my friends thought they were lovely. In the end it’s how you feel about it.
I have a question: why did you change the sofa covers ? I thought black was super chick.
All the best.
Tanja
You are absolutely right! 😉
Yes, we have a summer coat and a winter coat for the sofa. I´m going to change it back, but it´s a big job, so I have to find the energy first…. hehe.
Best,
Nina
WOW – just love your livingroom and your sence of style! Happy weekend to you <3
Is it possible to find an area rug with pinstripes similar to the bedding you have? I think some shade of white or pale gray with a geometric or stripe design would be stunning.
where is that coffee table from? I’ve been looking all over for one like that!
