Every year I make new Easter eggs to decorate with, and this year I painted some of them in LADY 7163 Minty Breeze ( leftovers from our hallway… ), and I actually made some marble eggs as well. The marble idea came when I saw some lovely marble paper-napkins at Kremmerhuset the other day, and since I have made decoupage eggs before, I thought that marble would be a great idea!
THIS IS WHAT I USED:
– Styroform eggs/ real empty eggs ( choose whatever you have )
– Napkins with marble print
– Decoupage glue
– A paintbrush
Decoupage is very easy, and you simply just use the Decoupage glue to glue the napkin on. It´s important to use only the thin layer with the print on from the napkin though. That way it gets a transparent effect and makes it look more “natural”.
Another great idea for this marble napkin would be to make “marble candles” – in the same way I did with this gift idea. I actually think I have to try that out myself!

Great idea! I’m gonna decorate with my golden concrete eggs this year but maybe next year we have marble eggs if I find those napkins from Finland 🙂 Have a lovely easter!
Thank you! Concrete eggs sounds amazing too 🙂
Happy Easter!

It’s adorable – great, great idea! (:
Thank you, Julie 🙂
I love the result. Here in Spain is hard to find marble paper, but I’ll try. Happy weekend.
I hope you find it! 🙂
Happy weekend!
