The picture wall that I have been planning lately is finally up behind the couch in the living room. It was a lot of work, but now that it´s up I´m very pleased. The room got much more personality and it feels more homey.
To plan it all I started by laying all the pictures on the floor in front of the couch, so I could see how it would look and to calculate the space. Then I leveled up a thread which I attached with two pins to make a top line before I started hanging up the pictures.
View the living room without the pictures here, to see the big difference.

I totally agree with you. It’s a lot more personal and homey (I also reeealy love this word! ). You’ve done a truly great job with the picture wall. But so you always do 🙂
I especially like the big picture to the right and the picture in the wooden frame to the left. So gorgeous! 😀
Thank you so much. I´m glad you like how it turned out. 🙂

It looks great Nina! I wish we could do something similar, but I can imagine how the frames would look like after just a few days of salt water coming in through the windows… Not pretty! 🙁 Living near the beach has its burdens 😉 I will just enjoy your picture wall for now 🙂 xx
Thank you, Maria!
I guess beach and the sea is a beautiful picture of itself – no photos needed 🙂 Sounds pretty amazing if you ask me!
xx
That’s a very good point, Nina! x
Utrolig lekkert !!! 🙂
Takk for det! 🙂
Hi:)
Looks very Nice:)
Where did you buy the frames?
Thx, Line
Hi Line,
Thank you!
Most of the frames are from Ikea ( RIBBA and EKETÅNGA )
The two thin ones are from “Europris” here in Norway.

It’s beautiful :). The picture choice and the way in which you have set it up keeping them symmetrical – I love it :). Makes the wall more “cozy”, I don’t know how to describe it :).
I don’t know how you do it, as the “before” was already perfect :)), you are very talented and a huge Inspiration for people around the world :).

Velkomponert og inspirerende!!!
Vil du avsløre hvor sofaen er fra?
M
Jeg er ret sikker på, at det er en Ikea-sofa (Söderhamn). 🙂
Men jeg kunne godt tænke mig at høre, hvad farven hedder?
Tusen takk for det. Sofaen du ser er en Søderhamn modulsofa i stoffet Ullevi.
