A lot of you have asked me about our bedside tables after seeing the BEFORE & AFTER BEDROOM photos. The good news is that it´s probably the most affordable nightstand you can buy; LACK Wall Shelf from Ikea. I bought black ones that I painted in the same color as the wall so it would blend in.. ( LADY 9925 Bergknatt )
I wanted a “floating” nightstand so it´s easier to clean underneath, not having everything standing on the floor. I also like the minimalistic expression it gives. It´s not much space for storage, but if you have a lamp on the wall instead of on the table it will certainly have room for a book, a glass of water and whatever you usually have on your bedside table *smile*
Budget tip of the day!

Really nice idea Nina :).
Thank you! 🙂
What a great idea! It looks very chic and stylish. Unfortunately, I have to much crap on and around my nightstand haha!
I guess this ideas is not for everybody 🙂 Glad you like it anyway though…
It´s really pure and stylish. Love it.
Lovely hugs
Molly
Thank you, Molly 🙂

I am in love with your blog <3
How much room do you suggest leaving between the bed and the night stand?
Hi Nina! Really love the idea with the floating shelves that melt into the wall with their new color. Did you just paint them straight on or did you use any treatment on the shelves before painting? It feels to me like the surface is a bit tricky to paint straight on to?
Ps really love the style on your blog, so fabulous!
