As many of you might have noticed, I do a lot of changes in our house. But a change does´t necessarily mean that you have to buy new things all the time. No, no… just move the things that you already have and you will get a new look without using any money. I do this quite often.
The weekend is a great time to make some changes, so this weekend I made a new “still life” on our iron cabinet and I ( finally got the time to ) hang the pictures on the wall. I used things that we already had, but they feel new now that I have them in another setting. Tip of the day!

Where can i get this iron cabinet?? 😀 I know you’ve had it for a long time, but what is the brand? And do you know where to buy any similar? Thanks.
It´s from a Norwegian shop called Living.no. I don´t think it´s available anywhere else than Norway…sorry.
Nina
Heia Nina. Hva heter skjenken? Finner den ikke pä nettsidene til skeidar… 🙁
Skjenken finner du på Home&Cottage. Den ble solgt på Living før ( ikke Skeidar ). Nå selges den kun på Home&Cottage.

A very good tip! Sometimes I find myself trying to acquire new things to spice things up when it;s not entirely necessary because I dislike clutter. In fact I’d like to think we just “get used to” what we see in our homes and by switching up the placement of an item, it really triggers something in our brain that something has changed and we notice those items again. I have a sense that’s what messy homeowners are like or really bad hoarders. They get so much stuff that after they see it day after day, it just becomes normal from their point of view. Thanks for sharing! I love me a nice cloche. Could you please share where you get them? They seem so rare to come across in the U.S. and even if I find them, the quality of the glass is poor and yet the prices are still high.
I´m glad you like my tip 😉 I have actually bought my cloches at a second-hand store here in Norway. It used to be a cloche over a golden-rotating-clock, that was very popular way back. I don´t know if you used to have them in the U.S.
I think it was only 2-3 dollars for it – so a real bargain!
Wow that’s an amazing deal! What luck! I’ll watch out for those clocks and thanks for sharing your sources. I’ve asked bloggers before where they get stuff and they usually don’t garner a response so thanks for that. 😀
Such smart ideas you always have. You are so inspiring to me.
May I ask where you shop your fantastic posters? I esspecially like the smaller one behind your sofa, the one with the stairs. Do you know the name of the print or where to buy?
Have a good day!
Thank you, Kiki! That makes me really happy to hear 🙂
I get most of my posters from Arte Limited: http://www.artelimited.com/. The one you are referring to as well ( you´ll find it here: http://www.artelimited.com/photographs/photograph-by-filip-herbst-7.html
They have a lot of nice print art to affordable prices. All in limited editions.
The ones you see here is from Fotografiska and the Scull is a one of a kind art-piece by a Norwegian artist called John André Hanøy.
Wish you a lovely evening.
Nina

Do you know how I can find out more information about locating this cabinet in Canada? Many Thanks for your assistance, Barbara
I´m sorry, but this cabinet in only available in Norway.
Nina
It looks so good.
Where have you found the pretty paper bags for your plants? I would love to cover mine up like that.
I bought it in a shop in Copenhagen that I can´t remember the name on at at moment. The paper bag is from Uashmama. I found them online here: http://www.uashmama.com.au/collections/all?page=2

Nina 🙂
Hvor har du købt bakken ? 🙂
Hi Nina,
I follow your blog from Spain and I’m in love with your home. I’m always reusing things and I did these paper bags for plants with paper crafts: http://www.mylittlebrunch.com/2014/02/diy-un-macetero-con-una-bolsa-de-churros.html
Love your ideas!
