Yesterday I had some friends over for dinner, and on the menu I had the traditional Norwegian dish “Fårikål”. Since this is a typical Autumn meal, I wanted to create a table setting that would go with the theme, so I went out and found some decorative leaves. I also used the apples that I had as leftovers after the apple cake I made for dessert.
Since the dining table is in our living room, I usually keep a color scheme that goes with the rest of the room, so I used my grey linen table cloth together with grey napkins. And to make it more cosy now that it´s getting darker outside, I had a lot of candles on the table, but also around the house..

Lovely! Simply perfect 🙂
I just got a very similar linen tablecloth in France, mine is water repellent as its wax covered (kids) and I cannot wait to start using it!
Warmest regards!

Ohh how I love your table! Love the concrete with the marble.. 😀
Wow, looks great and I bet it tasted great as well!
Ser jättemysigt ut, härligt bladning av grått, betong och marmor. Dags att åka hem och duka. Varifrån kommer de små marmor teljuststakarna ifrån förresten? De passar ju bra på massor av ställen! Tack för en superblog!
Beautiful your table, a great inspiration for my autumn gioranate!
Greetings from Rome
