FLOWERS FROM MY GARDEN
A wonderful and very fun weekend is over but the weekend-flowers is still standing… On Friday I picked these beautiful flowers in my own garden, and their scent is amazing!

17TH OF MAY TABLE SETTING
As we are celebrating Norway´s Constitution day tomorrow, I´m sure many of my Norwegian readers are in need of some table setting inspiration the for the big day.
This year´s table setting for our National Day is in white and blue, and with lots of flowers in the same colors spread around the table. As a fun little detail I have attached a tag on each napkin that I´ve used stickers that says “HURRA” and “HIPP” ( I found the stickers on Søstrene Grene, but if you want to make something similar and don´t have time to buy these, you can write it yourself of course.. ) If you´d like to add some red to the table as well, you can just have some red flowers or some flags around the table. Or you can hang garlands of flags above the table or in the background as I have ( last picture ) .

GETTING A SPRING LOOK IN 1-2-3!
By taking away some of the dark items on my kitchen self and replace it with lighter ones, I immediately got a spring feeling in my kitchen. I love when a little rearranging is all that it takes to get a new fresh look, using what I already have but in a different way.
On today´s walk I also found some beautiful spring flowers for my kitchen. They will make sure I get that extra spring feeling with its beauty and heavenly scent! Oh, joy!
An olive branch in a simple glass vase is beautiful and decorative on the kitchen shelf.
