{ DIY: "Tips" }

A few weeks back when I was visiting a friend, I noticed she had this cool “tips-can” next to her coffee machine. She told me that she made it out of a can of tomatoes, and I knew right away that I wanted to make a similar one as it´s a fun and decorative way to save some hard earned money.

This is a very easy “do it yourself” project and the only thing that I did was to remove the paper around the can as well as the lid and the contents. Afterwards, I typed “TIPS” with my Dymo machine.
On this particular can I added some Japanese tape to hide some minor damage that my can opener made, but this shouldn´t be necessary if your opener works well. *smile*

Have you ever made anything out of your cans?  Please tell me or show me by uploading pictures on Stylizimo.com or sending me a link in the comment section.

    Can you tell something more about this Dymo machine? How can I make this kind of sign?

    Have it. Love it. Every day. For heavens sake they delivered it without George Clooney (announcement in Germany is with GC). I ordered Johnny Depp but he didn´t come with it.

    This coffeemaker looks great. I know, you are proud of your DIY-project ;), but your machine remember a little at the old Italian coffee machines. And I really love that!

    Take care & besitos

    Oh everything looks so cute… I just found your blog a few weeks ago, but I can’t stop reading and looking, and coming back to it again and again:)
    I absolutely fell in love with this little espresso cup, I have a soap dispenser from House Doctor in the same style… would you mind telling me where you got it from? Thanks xxx
