{ Black & white home office }

As I told you a few days ago I needed a change in my home office, and this weekend I finally had the time to do the finishing touches of my new black and white home office. Here you have a little tour…

Read more about my DIY Antlers here.
I love inspiration boards, and this time I’ve made one in black and white with pictures from magazines that I attached to the wall with washi tape together with some prints.

See how I made the “Home sweet home” picture here. ( The black text and chandelier is made using stamps )

I wanted more space so I could have both my computer and my sewing machine on the same desk. If I don’t have my sewing machine readily available I never use it…

It’s nice to have a home office that is more organized and I’m very happy with the result, even though I really liked my previous office.

I hope you like my new home office, and that it gave you some inspiration.

Have a great new week everyone!

xo,
Nina

Takk for herlig inspirasjon! Klem; Heidi

oh goodness Nina.. of course it is perfection. Im trying to find art work for the new white living room. Currently we have a lilac poster thats just making the living room lilacy.. im trying to think of colours for autumn that could easily go into winter.. like gold and beige or taupe. Ah decisions decisions!! Alsooo.. your goldy lamp would match your lamp with the dangly pieces (which i would LOVE)

    Takk for all inspirasjon.

It look like a great space to work in, that’s on thing I would like, a space to call my own where I can set up my computer and all my sewing bits and just do something in the hop with out having to set it all up and them put it all away again.
    Great makeover.

Hi Nina.. May I ask where did you manage to find such a long desk? I have been browsing through Ikea but the longest ‘table top’ I was able to find was 200 cm long..

And guess what, if I don’t have my sewing machine readily available, I don’t use it either. :D

P.S : Love the new office room – it seems to have more sense of space ! Taking loads of inspiration from this room :)

Yes, the previous one was extremely charming, too. Still, I’m feeling this to be serving all your purposes very well and the styling details are beyond gorgeous!

Sharnika: I bought the desk at Ikea.
I made a 3 meter long desk, putting to table tops together using one 2 meter and one 1 meter of this one “Vika Amon” (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50103604/ and this one http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50071170/)
As for legs I used 6 pcs of the “Vika Rundtorp” (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50138199/). Put your table tops together by screwing the legs (in the middle) in half of both plates.
